Congratulations on your investment of the TDM Ad-Hold Digital Download Program.  This manual will assist you with the installation of  your Ad-Hold Digital Download Equipment, guide you through the download of your new production, as well as provide other helpful      details about the Ad-Hold Program.

The kit which this manual came with should include all of the necessary equipment to successfully download your new production and install your digital player.  The only tools that we recommend you have are: an internet connection (to download your new production); your telephone system manual (to help locate the Music-on-hold port); and a          screwdriver (to attach the player to the wall, if desired).

Step 1.  Insert the Dazzle Installer     CD.

The Auto-run program will begin the software setup application automatically.  If the installer does not begin, then double click "My Computer." The      window for "My Computer" will open.  Next double click on the drive corresponding to your CD-ROM.   Then double click on  the "Setup.exe" file to begin installation.

Step 2. Install the driver software         and restart your computer.

A menu will appear with several options.  Select "Install Drivers" from the menu. At the next window, click on the Compact Flash icon to install the         appropriate drivers.  Follow the on-screen                instructions to install the software. Restart your    computer once the installation has completed.

After you insert the CD into the CD-ROM, the Dazzle Digital Media Reader Installer program should appear.  From this main menu, select "Install Driver."

From this second menu, select the Compact Flash driver.  This will install the drivers that will enable you to record your Ad-Hold production from the internet onto your Compact Flash Card.

After selecting to install the Compact Flash Driver, the          InstallShield Wizard will load.  Click "Next" to continue.

Next, select the folder where you would like the software installed.  We recommend choosing the default folder, which will automatically appear.  To select a different folder, click "Browse."  Otherwise, to continue with the default folder, click "Next."

Choose the name of the folder you want the icons to appear.  Again, we recommend using the default name.  Click "Next" to continue.

3d.

Review the details of the installation procedure.  This window tells you the folder location you are installing the software as well as the amount of space required.  To continue, click "Next."

To complete installation, click "Finish."  To begin using your removable drive, plug the cable into your USB Port and restart your computer.  To download your new Ad-Hold production from the internet, direct your browser to www.adholdtdm.com and click on Client Production Download. Be sure to have your account number and password available.  To download, simply follow the instructions on the screen.

Once your hardware is set up, you will be able to download your new Ad-Hold     production.  To start, direct your internet browser to www.adholdtdm.com and click on the dancing floppy drive icon.

The floppy drive icon loads the customer support page.  To continue, enter your six digit account number. 

A box appears, prompting for your user name and password.  A laminated card  detailing this information should have   already been provided for you, either when our technician installed the equipment, or when we initially mailed you the            installation kit.  If you need any assistance   logging in, please feel free to give us a call.

4b.

Once you are successfully logged in, your custom Ad-Hold web page will appear.  To begin downloading your file, point the mouse over the Voice File link and click the right mouse button. 

On the menu that appears, select "Save Target As…"

The "Save As" box will appear on your screen.  Select the drive letter that        corresponds with your Removable Drive (Drive F in the example to the right). If you haven't done so already, at this point insert your Flash Card into the Digital Media Reader.  Click on "Save" to begin downloading.

4c.

If you get a prompt asking if you wish to overwrite the previous file, select "Yes."

As your production downloads, you can view the status.  Normally, a production should take about five minutes to download.  Extended productions and slower connection speeds may make the download take longer.  The status box will close when the download completes.  Remove the Flash Card from the Digital Media Reader when the LED stops     flashing and  appears solid.

After you remove your Flash Card, insert it into your Digital Download Player.  Reset the system by turning the player off, then turning it back on.  Your new messages will begin playing.  Repeat these steps whenever you have a new production.  Your customer service representative and copywriter will alert you when new productions are ready to download.  And, again, if you have any questions, concerns, or problems, please feel free to contact us.
